The present declaration of confidentiality (hereinafter referred to as “Confidentiality Declaration”) is applicable to the collection, use and storage of all personal data collected through the online shop http://shop.calliste.lu (hereinafter referred to as the “Online Shop”) as well as by any other means during the ordering process.

  2. Personal data is defined as any indication relating to the material or personal situation of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes notably the name, the telephone number and the address of a client as well as the set of data provided during the ordering process or whilst creating a customer account.

  3. The Confidentiality Declaration was set up in conformity and within the spirit of the law of 2 August 2002 relating to the protection of persons in view of personal data processing, as amended  and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as applicable as of 25 May 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”).

  4. The Confidentiality Declaration was updated for the last time on 8 June 2018.

The responsible body within the meaning of the Data Processing Law is Calliste S.A., a joint stock company incorporated and existing under the laws of Luxembourg, having its registered office at 44, Grand-rue, L-9240 Diekirch, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies' Register under number B94660 (hereinafter referred to as "Calliste").

  1. In line with article 5 of the Data Processing Law and the GDPR, personal data is collected with the sole aim of and in connection with the conclusion of a current or future sales agreement between the customer and Calliste through the Online Shop.

  2. Personal data will be collected during the ordering process and stored after the conclusion of a sales agreement in order to simplify future purchases and with a view to constantly improving our Online Shop.

  3. In conformity with paragraph 2 (4) of our terms of use, Calliste collects, once express customer consent was obtained, the e-mail addresses of its customers with a view to distribute the Calliste newsletter.

  1. In conformity with paragraph 2 of our terms of use, Calliste exclusively collects the personal data that is necessary to the proper execution of the sales agreement to be entered into between the customer and Calliste.

  2. In conformity with paragraph 2 of our terms of use, Calliste stores the personal data of any person which creates a customer account on the Online Shop. Furthermore, Calliste stores the personal data of any customer which enters into a sales agreement through the Online Shop but only to the extent it is necessary for the proper execution of the ordering process through the Online Shop.

  3. Before an order is placed, every customer has the possibility, by checking a summary of the contractual data, to reconcile all potential errors and to correct them.

  4. After an order is placed, every customer has the possibility to consult, manage and modify its personal data in the specifically designed online customer centre.

  5. As payments for the sales agreements entered into through the Online Shop are processed by Worldline (SIX Payment Services (Europe) S.A. 10, rue Gabriel Lippmann, L-5365 Munsbach Luxembourg) and by Paypal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie., S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg), Calliste does neither collect nor store credit card numbers nor any other payment method used by a customer. The personal information of our customers may, however, be stored and processed by those outside service providers.

  1. Personal access information and personal data will be securely transferred during the ordering process by way of SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer Software), certified by Thawte Server Certification Authority.

  2. The website http://shop.calliste.lu and other systems are protected against loss, destruction, access, change and dissemination of personal data by way of technical and organizational measures.

  1. In conformity with paragraph 2 of our terms of use, Calliste commits to process the personal data of its customers in line with the law and to ensure their confidentiality.

  2. In conformity with paragraph 2 of our terms of use, Calliste commits not to transfer the personal data of its customers to third parties, be it against consideration or without.

  3. Notwithstanding paragraph 6.2, Calliste reserves the right to transfer the personal data necessary to ensure the proper execution of the sales agreement to the transportation company in charge of the delivery of the goods ordered, to the extent it is necessary to ensure the smooth delivery of the goods ordered. Moreover, Calliste reserves the right to transfer the personal data necessary to ensure the proper functioning of its Online Shop and the distribution of its Calliste newsletter to certain specific service providers, as detailed in paragraphs 4., 9. and 10. of the present declaration of confidentiality.

  4. Delivery of goods ordered will be ensured by POST Luxembourg within the borders of Luxembourg and by DPD abroad.

Every customer has at all times the possibility to request the complete removal of its personal data collected by sending an e-mail to [email protected]

  1. Calliste wants to bring to the attention of their customers that the Online Shop uses cookies. Cookies are used by Calliste, for example, to group the goods selected by the customer in a virtual basket on the Online Shop or to store their access data (including passwords) with the aim of avoiding permanent re-connections.

  2. Cookies are little text files which are stored on the hard drive of a customer's computer and which register certain specific parameters and enable the exchange of data with our system through the browser of the customer.

  3. The Online Shop uses session cookies (temporary cookies which are automatically deleted after a visit to the Online Shop) as well as tracking cookies (cookies of longer duration which can only be manually deleted of the hard drive of a customer's computer).

  4. The customer has at all times the possibility to avoid the storage of cookies on the hard drive of its computer by activating the corresponding parameters in its internet browser. The customer also has at all times the possibility to delete tracking cookies through the use of programs specifically designed for this purpose. This may however impact the smooth functioning of the Online Shop.

  1. Brevo is an email marketing software which enables Calliste to design, send and save e-mail templates.

  2. Calliste uses Brevo to design and distribute the Calliste newsletter by way of e-mail to its customers.

  3. Calliste transfers a set of specific personal data (i.e. name, titel, language and e-mail address of a customer) to Brevo in order for their features to function properly.

  1. Calliste uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (Google Inc., USA, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses “cookies” (as defined here above under paragraph 8). Google Analytics employs cookies that are stored to your computer in order to facilitate an analysis of your use of this website. The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of your visits to our site, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google’s location in the US and stored there.

  2. Calliste uses Google AdWords (Google Inc., USA, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), an advertising system in which advertisers (i.e. Calliste) bid on certain keywords in order for their clickable ads to appear in Google's search results.

  3. Calliste uses Google Tag Manager (Google Inc., USA, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not register personal data. The tool causes other tags to be activated which may, for their part, register data under certain circumstances. Google Tag Manager does not access this information.

  4. Calliste uses the Google Remarketing functions (Google Inc., USA, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), which are used to advertise for this website in Google search results and on third party websites. For this purpose, Google places a cookie onto the browser of your terminal device. This cookie has a pseudonymous ID which automatically facilitates interest-based advertisements based on the websites you visit. The processing takes place on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6(1) lit. a EU GDPR. Personalised, interest-related advertising messages based on your previous usage and surfing behaviour on a terminal device (e.g. mobile phone) can then be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC). You can withdraw at any time under the privacy settings. Any data processing beyond that shall only take place if you have agreed with Google to connect your internet and app browsing history from Google with your Google account and information is used from your Google account to personalise advertisements that you see online. If in this case you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data in order to create and define target audience lists for remarketing across devices. To do so, your personal data from Google will be temporarily connected with Google Analytics data in order to create target audiences.

  5. Calliste uses Google Ads Conversion Tracking (Google Inc., USA, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), a web analytics service to improve website and advertising activities. The conversion tracking cookie is added when a user clicks on a AdWords advertisement from Google. . These cookies generally expire after 30 days and cannot identify a user personally. If you visit certain pages of our website within these 30 days, Google can detect that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore cookies cannot be traced back to AdWords customers via a website.

In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.   1. Calliste (calliste.lu) uses a pixel from Facebook, Inc., 1601 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). This tool allows us to follow the actions of users after they are redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. We are thus able to record the efficacy of our Facebook advertisments for statistical reasons.

  2. No directly personal data is stored or usage profiles on our partner websites are associated with personal data.

  3. At any time, you can deactivate the collection of data for the purpose of personalised advertising under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences. By deactivating, a cookie is set which permanently prevents data collection unless you delete this cookie in your browser specifically or via the "Delete all cookies" function.
